A roadmap for 'Designerpreneurs'...

I’ve had many ‘aha’ moments over the years.

One of the big ones that comes to mind is the day CSS website layouts finally made sense to me.

(It seems silly now, but I was self-taught. 10 years ago there wasn’t many resources online… everyone still used tables!)

This blog post marks the first of many in a new series that I’m excited to work on. One that will hopefully spark similar ‘aha’ moments for those who read them.

Here’s the plan...

It’s my goal to create a roadmap for graphic and web designers. I'll teach you to leverage your skills, build a business, and reach your full potential. Creatively and financially.

The things I’m going to share, are the things I wish I had known earlier in my career. Things that I wish I had help with, but didn’t have the right people to ask or mentor me.

What’s in it for me?

Outside of my family, most of my time revolves around work and design. You’d think I’d want a break from it, but honestly, if I’m not learning or working on something, I start to get antsy.

It’s like an addiction, but at least I like what I do...

This is a personal project that will keep me focused outside of my day to day commitments. It will also allow me to virtually mentor the next generation of designers.

Plus, this will hopefully help to develop my writing skills.

(If I have poor grammar, this is your warning).

Stay tuned...

I’m currently developing a list of topics and will be posting regularly.

In the meantime, follow me on Twitter and Instagram to stay in the loop.
